Plantelligence · The Garden Studio byKathi

Where Thinking Meets Dirt

Notes, experiments, and quiet systems from a garden that teaches more than it yields.

Each season begins as an experiment

Some things take root, others take time, and a few remind me that control was never the point. Gardening keeps teaching me to observe, adjust, and stay curious; those lessons reach well beyond the beds themselves.

This space grew out of my main site, byKathi.com, where I write about how structure and reflection shape the way we think. Plantelligence became its own studio — a place to test those same ideas in soil instead of spreadsheets.

What I share here grows out of that practice, where discovery and intention learn to coexist.

Come see what’s growing

Every plant tells me something, whether I end up loving it or leaving it. These notes track what thrives, what disappoints, and what earns a place here again. It’s less about perfection and more about understanding what works and why.

Lessons Worth Keeping

The thinking that shapes the practice, foundational ideas from The Curiosity Scaffold that inform how I approach the garden.

A structured gardening approach to dirt, blooms, and the occasional rabbit emergency.
